The practical idea
A short project log can make AI-assisted learning easier to review. It is most useful when it shows the work, including mistakes, instead of reducing the experience to an impressive-sounding score.
Start with the question
Write down what the learner wants to understand and what a satisfactory answer would include. Save an initial explanation or attempt so there is something to compare later.
Track the changes
Record the tool’s suggestions, the sources used to check them and the changes the learner made. Keep private or sensitive material out of the log.
Review understanding
Ask the learner to explain the result in their own words and try a related problem. Record remaining questions. This is an informal exercise, not a validated measure of learning gain per hour.
