Verified Site Dossier · TKC Group Intelligence
The $4.5 billion move across the state line — plotted onto the real ground. Two sites, hand-verified coordinates, rendered on genuine satellite basemaps. No AI-generated cartography.
01 · Methodology
The earlier version of this story carried an AI-generated “map” — a compass rose and legend over geography that corresponded to nothing on the ground. This dossier replaces it with the opposite: real Mapbox satellite imagery, with a single hand-verified marker per site.
Every pin below is a curated coordinate — no geocoder, no diffusion, no invented streets. Open either site on Google Maps and check the marker against the real parcel: Stadium ↗ · Olathe HQ ↗. Coordinates are marked approximate pending the final recorded plat.
02 · The move, at metro scale
Fifty-nine years at the Truman Sports Complex in Jackson County, Missouri, give way to two new campuses on the Kansas side — a stadium northwest in Wyandotte County and a headquarters south in Olathe.

03 · The two sites

Wyandotte County, Kansas · $3.0B

Olathe, Kansas · $300M
04 · Following the money
The headline figure is the team’s total capital investment — not the stadium alone. It splits three ways, which is why some early coverage cited a smaller “$3.3B” number (stadium + HQ only).
05 · How it got here
06 · The pitch
Figures are the Chiefs’ own updated projections (released June 30, 2026), not independent estimates — presented here as the team’s case, not settled fact.
